Inner Heart leads to Outward heart...

What does it really mean to truly change? Is encounter with God or huge circumstance in your life that requires you to call him God to intervene on your behalf? Is change a condition of your heart or your life? When we say the Salvation prayer we clearly state for God to forgive us but we also ask Jesus to come into our hearts. So why did so many people want to see an hour change first? Until we submit to God fully we will never see change on the outward sign we can't really walk in our victory into we step into the plans for our lives. Paul sums it up so greatly in Romans 2:28-29 that the circumcision of our hearts involves God cutting away everything inour hearts. But Gods ultimate plan is to cut away everything in our lives that doesn't give him glory. But before we can see any fruit in our lives God must fiest deal with our hearts.

The heart both in Hebrew and Greek culture the heart was seen as a symbol of the ultimate purpose and motivation.  The heart is organ at the center of our body. The heart is our innerman, the deepest thoughts, the deepest feelings and the deepest intentions. The heart is the language that God uses to communicate with us. At the center of our heart we are told to love God with all of it. In the New Testament the hearts mean the conscious process of intent thoughts and feelings (not emotions) of a deep intimate level.

In order for our lifes to show change we must first get out hearts intuned with God's heart. Before God can do any possible work in our world we must let God do a deep work in our hearts.Renewal involves both inward renewal of the mind and outward behavior. It is only thorough transformation of our hearts that we can effectively carry out God's purposes.

Very surprising, God should have chosen David. He was the very youngest. Each of the seven sons was paraded before Samuel. One-by-one God said they were not the one He had chosen. One by one these very choice young men were set aside. This young boy who was doing nothing more than looking after the sheep in the fields - an insignificant job you might say - he was brought in. Immediately God said that he was the one - "Get out your oil and pour it on his head; he is the one." It just goes to show how true it is - as appears in my text - that God doesn't judge according to the outward appearance but according to the heart.  
When we begin to look at people the way God see's them we will find ourselves transformed. God looks at the heart of his children instead of their actions.

Rick Pino @ Victory Christian

Have you ever heard God tell you simply to just shut up? Well tonight that happened to me, as Rick Pino began worship I started out by doing my usual praying and thanking God for who he is and what he has done. Then God reminded me what he said in his word WELL actually a couple of things. 

The first thing was Isaiah 43:31
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
    They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don’t get tired,
    they walk and don’t lag behind.


There are two conditions that are necessary to physical life response and activity, so it is only natural that there is conditions to your spiritual life. Those conditions are being passive and exercising. God began to relieve to me that you can just sit back and talk a big game or you can exercise you patience and just wait for me, cause with all your talking sometimes you forget that when you wait on me i will refresh you and strengthen you and give you the ability to operate though life better when you just soak in my presence. And that just waiting on me shows me the opposite of indifference, and rebellion towards me. Wow my mind was blown needless to say.

The second thing was for to look at all the children of God that came before me that when they waited on the Lord, he flowed upon them and imparted great measure upon their life's.  And I began to ask the Holy Spirit to show me who? I got people like ABRAHAM AND SARAH they waiting for Issac, NOAH as he waiting for the waters to subside, JOSEPH waiting for his time to in power, MARY AND MARTHA waiting for Jesus to arrive, THE DISCIPLES waiting for the Holy Spirit to come on the day of Pentecost. 

For me waiting on the Lord effected my life and was transforming, just like the people of the Bible. They experienced a powerful relationship with God just cause they were obediant to just wait and listen. Jacob practiced it.
I wait in hope for your salvation, God(Genesis 49:18). Job practiced it.
 “All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come” (Job 14:14). David He wrote: 
“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him” (Psalms 37:7). Jeremiah practiced it. 
He stated: “It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord” (Lamentations 3:26).  So JUST DO IT i was told. 

As i began to submit to God and just wait and soak in his presence, i found myself totally focused on him. Then he began to show me things that i need to work on in my life and where he is waiting me to go. Wow how we can be so caught up in wanting to just love on God we so easily for get God wants to love on us. It is true that loving God is different that being in love with him,

Freedom Conference Recap.....


Wow what can be said about the freedom conference 2013. It may have not been hundreds upon hundreds of people there, but God did show up. With all the stress, nights without sleep, planning and praying payed off, for the Kingdom.  The glory rolled in, and the spirit of the Lord was swept through out. It was truly an amazing two days soaking in the presence of God. 

Day one

Day one started pretty crazy at least for me. Got up at 10 to make sure that i was looking fresh and clean to go and pick up Andrew Peters for the airport, only to get a call from Daniel telling me that he made a mistake about Andrews arrival time....opps. So i was blessed with more time to get ready praise Jesus. Instead of picking up Andrew i picking up Corey Asbury and Caleb Culver.  Madison went with me it was an awesome time to talk to such and amazing young lady and spent time with her. Needless to say she was star stuck by the whole experience to pick up Corey and Caleb lol. 

After Getting lost at the airport we eventually able to be on our way to the river.  It was such an honor to be able to serve by picking up Corey and Caleb at the airport. But I don't think I was in store for what God was truly going to do that night. I know for Corey and his team the night started out pretty bad with the monitors giving them trouble but they overcame and the sound  started working properly. They were able to usher us into the very throne room and the presence of God. Afterwards Andrew Peters brought forth the word not only was Andrew Peters spot on for the word that the region needed to hear, (most likely not what we wanted to hear but we needed to hear) not only that but he pushed us to pray for our region and in that I found myself not only overcome with compassion and overcome with love for this region but the people that are lost in it. I fell on my face and begin to pray and in that prayer I got so caught up in the presence of God that He begin to reveal things to me. He reveal that breakthrough is here it is only upon us whether we're going to take that breakthrough and press through it. It may seem dark now and may seem gloomy but God is ready and waiting for us the people in this region to step up and begin to clear that darkness away with the light that we possess inside of us. Needless to say I was ready! 



Day Two 

Day two started off really rocky for me after only getting 3 hours of sleep and not even being able to get ready hat my house, I was feeling really really stressed out and really overwhelmed at that point. After we got to the river it was almost as if the presence of God still remain there from the night before. As soon as i walked through the doors I felt this relaxing feeling of just rest. I straighten my hair that morning in the sanctuary and then begin to help everyone on the freedom conference worship team with sound at least until somebody that knew what they were doing with that system got there. In the morning worship was amazing it was if nobody has ever left from the night before. After worship we had breakout sessions with Pastor Jeff Smith and Nate Fabian from Victory. With great persuasion Bethany convince me to go to Nate's breakout session so I did. Nate talk about the DNA of Faith and that everything that God has given us is inside of us but it is up to us to bring out what is inside of us. That we can pray for things but if we already have them inside of us we just need to bring it out. Also that God is not going to give us something that's going to intern hurt us so we need to continue to pray and seek and grow so were able to fully filled the will that God has for us. 


After that we had a little bit of a break which was nice I was planning on sleeping but it never happened which was very disappointing. After the break Mason Angelo brought forth the  word which was good he talked about freedom and what true freedom what's the got me thinking that do we all really know how to truly be free in order for us to be called true faithful believers. We can't Harbor our sins in our hearts and hide them from God because God sees our hearts we have to forget them and give them to God.  To harbor our sins we deny the Holy Spirit access to our heart. And then I'll begin thinking more of what does it really mean to be a real faithful believer and one  verses that I found was in Ephesians 1:13. 

It’s in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it (this Message of your salvation), found yourselves home free—signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit. This signet from God is the first installment on what’s coming, a reminder that we’ll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life.

So as true believers we are signed, sealed, and delivered we need to stop seeking after Worldly desires and start truly seeking the righteousness of God because we need to stop following and being led by our emotions and stop doing what pleases us rather having faith in the Word of God and being led and obedient to the will of God.

Then once again we have another break and I was hoping to sleep again but it just didn't happen and i was greatly disappointed about. After a great time in worship Andrew Peters once again brought forth a word which was a very good. He was truly a blessing that weekend and an awesome man of God. Then there was a altar call and Andrew was talking about people that have felt oppression and depressed. Suddenly i felt this overwhelming feeling and all the times that I've felt rejected, not needed and that I haven't really known with the full purpose of my calling was.

 I always knew that I was supposed to be some type of Prayer person but after so many times me feeling like people didn't acknowledge that I just felt hopeless. Then God reminded me of my desire, which was to start a movement like none other where people fall on their faces in desperation to see God's face and he's warm embrace. This conference was the beginning of that it may have not been my vision but I am a part of that vision in some way. So I went up for prayer after a great word that God had given Lanita to give I was overwhelmed with the love from God that he has heard my prayers. That he knows the desires of my heart and that when I praise him it's from my heart and it's not just to be seen or have a good time but to truly enter into his presence. And then Andrew Peters basically confirm my calling is intercessory prayer and sometimes I often wondered why I felt so attacked in beaten down when I knew who the King of King's is and the Lord of Lord's. And in that moment my morning was over and my heart danced at the sound just the sound of his great name. Then i fully understood the word I had spoke a couple months ago at New Life Psalms 30:11

You did it: you changed wild lament
    into whirling dance;
You ripped off my black mourning band
    and decked me with wildflowers.
I’m about to burst with song;
    I can’t keep quiet about you.
God, my God,
    I can’t thank you enough.




God has taking our shame, guilt and sorrow and replace it with the piestly garment and I had truly understood what that meant now. That if we're not careful we can allow the devil to point to what we have not accomplished and where we are weak.  Its easy to feel bad and just want to give up and that's not the way of the Spirit no matter how much we mess up no matter how many times we feel  that. God never gives up on us the spirit is constantly nudging us to continue in go.  We cannot allow our thoughts to dwell on what we think we should be, if we focus on what we're not or what we have not accomplished we can find our faith slowly fading.

But now, God’s Message,
    the God who made you in the first place, Jacob,
    the One who got you started, Israel:
“Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you.
    I’ve called your name. You’re mine.
When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you.
    When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down.
When you’re between a rock and a hard place,
    it won’t be a dead end—
Because I am God, your personal God,
    The Holy of Israel, your Savior.
I paid a huge price for you:
    all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in!
That’s how much you mean to me!
    That’s how much I love you!
I’d sell off the whole world to get you back,
    trade the creation just for you.



 God doesn't promise to completely get rid of our troubles and hardships but he does promise to be with us on the journey through them. Despite our failures he is with us encouraging us not to give up and to remember that with his help we can win. 

Aftermath 
I never thought that this conference could truly change me, I went into it not expecting very much but after the first night God raised my expectation level. I truly believe that my purpose on earth is not to always get caught up in what other people are doing our why am I not in that position what i feel i should be.  If I continually to seek after him no matter what battles I may face, God hears my prayers and he's faithful and that he is just and that when I give him everything inside of me him he rewards me greatly.

Losing My Religion


Religion what does religion really mean? It may seen shocking to people if you would tell them that the word "religion" is only mentioned in the bible seven times. In six of the seven times it is mentioned it is in a bad manner. When people say that they are a very religious person or that they belong to a certain congregation that is based on religion they think that is a good thing. We tend to think that being religious is good but in Gods word this is not so. 


The only verse that the word religion is mentioned in a good way is James 1:27 Anyone who sets himself up as “religious” by talking a good game is self-deceived. This kind of religion is hot air and only hot air. Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world. 


Religion and having a personal relationship with Christ are in two different ball parks. See religion says we must do something in order for us as man to get into heaven. But Jesus in John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father apart from me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him. You’ve even seen him!”

Since Adam and Eve sinned and was kicked out of the garden man has been trying to build his way to heaven, and in trying to building it we came up with this idea we have to earn it in some manner. But there is nothing that we can do as man to earn our way into heaven. Man has overlaid religion with certain ideas, beliefs, intuition and laws with the body of Christ.  With requirement's which have become who we are as believers and has cause some to become  disgust and loathing to other believers that are more free and loving. 

Now with all that said I'm not trying to sound like we don't have to do stuff in to show God love. But what I am saying is that we cannot establish a relationship with Christ based on the works we do. I believe in that in order for us to get into heaven not only do we have to express love for others but we also have to express an intimate and deep relationship with Christ. When we get the understanding of  who saved us and died on a tree in order for us to be in right standing with God. We need to kick of religion and be able to enter into God's presence and have a meaningful and deep relationship with him because in order to do God's will we must know what his will is first. How are we ever going to know how to express love, the love that God shows us when he sent Jesus if we don't know his love.  All  of us can go through life saying were religious and that we go to church every Sunday and that we stand up and we worship and we know his word. But how will we  truly know God if were not willing to take the time and sit in his presence and let him speak to her heart. 

If we are truly practicing religion ask yourself these questions does it go beyond the walls of your church building or your home, does it go beyond the printed pages of your Bible into soup kitchens and into the streets. Does it go beyond superficial hearing of the words do you truly plug yourself into the word every day it is a practical religion to being able to do what Christ did. Does it consist of more than just going to church reading and praying does it reach out and manifest itself in compassion to those in need. Your personal religion, is it going beyond what we may do including other personal involvement apart from what others may do. Practicing religion is involving are intentional cleansing from sin by the blood of Christ. Its include putting away of sins with the help of God so that we may be unspotted by the world if not then whatever religion we have is useless and we are simply deceiving ourselves.

Jesus said that many would fall to keep their word of God for keeping the traditions of man. Jesus said I desire mercy not sacrifice love and relationship not religion. Jesus is the last sacrificial lamb. The Jews knew that the Messiah would be God because of Isaiah 9:6 
For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given,
    and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 
so when Jesus told them before Abraham I Am they knew he was claiming to be the Messiah an equal with God but they were caught up in the religion and not the truth of their own long study text. There is no tradition that we are in right standing but only faith love and relationship with god. The Bible is pure and stand alone as the Word of God.
A lot of pastors and a lot of other people may get offended by this post but my mission in life is  to the spread the news that God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. like it says in John 3:17. But a lot of pastors with reading post  in researching this they believe that religion is the core part of what it is to be a Christian. In fact religion only plays a small role in what it is to be a Christians. Maybe it's because I'm young and maybe it's because I see my generation slowly becoming drawn to the way of the world do to hypocritical Christians that think you have to dress a certain way and think you have to talk a certain way. In fact all God wants is your love and the fact that he wants you to do what Jesus did.

Then he told them what they could expect for themselves: “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat—I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? If any of you is embarrassed with me and the way I’m leading you, know that the Son of Man will be far more embarrassed with you when he arrives in all his splendor in company with the Father and the holy angels. This isn’t, you realize, pie in the sky by and by. Some who have taken their stand right here are going to see it happen, see with their own eyes the kingdom of God.”

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
 Jesus asked for us to pick up our cross and follow after him he didn't say to go to church every Sunday. That's not what he said he said pick up my cross and follow after me. We are not the driver of our own life's but we are the passenger. I don't understand how people don't get the concept and to look at Jesus's life Jesus did things that offended people because he's soul mission in life was to free the bound and heal the brokenhearted and to be that light in so much darkness and it says that what is the use of a lamp if you hide it and put it under something.

Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven
If we truly got this concept of what it meant to be a Christian the world would be under a revolution not a revival. But a revolution of people standing up and taking their place as Christians to see no more heartache and no more despair and sickness. God has called us not to be a people of oppression but to be a people free from it.

Being Positive In UNCOMFORTABLE Times



Romans 4:17-25
We call Abraham “father” not because he got God’s attention by living like a saint, but because God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody. Isn’t that what we’ve always read in Scripture, God saying to Abraham, “I set you up as father of many peoples”? Abraham was first named “father” and then became a father because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do: raise the dead to life, with a word make something out of nothing. When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, “You’re going to have a big family, Abraham!”
19-25 Abraham didn’t focus on his own impotence and say, “It’s hopeless. This hundred-year-old body could never father a child.” Nor did he survey Sarah’s decades of infertility and give up. He didn’t tiptoe around God’s promise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God, sure that God would make good on what he had said. That’s why it is said, “Abraham was declared fit before God by trusting God to set him right.” But it’s not just Abraham; it’s also us! The same thing gets said about us when we embrace and believe the One who brought Jesus to life when the conditions were equally hopeless. The sacrificed Jesus made us fit for God, set us right with God.


Being positive is hard especially when the world seems hopeless and drowning under the waves.  The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running.  

Ecclesiastes 9:11" I took another walk around the neighborhood and realized that on this earth as it is—The race is not always to the swift,Nor the battle to the strong,Nor satisfaction to the wise,Nor riches to the smart,Nor grace to the learned.Sooner or later bad luck hits us all." But it's how we act upon the bad luck that will truly define who we are in Christ. 
Take a look at Abraham it is truly amazing how no mater how long it took for a son to be born he still reminded positive and BELIEVED!!!!!!

Abraham was hundred years old when his son was born, he was seventy four when God promised him that he would have a son. His son being born wasn't just a miracle but a example that when times see so hopeless, and that everyone is being blessed before you all God is wanting you to do it believe and have faith and to speak positively over the situation and to remain positive. Proverbs 18:21 Words kill, words give life they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.


I wonder how i could have still believed God, it took twenty five years for this to come to pass. Would you have believe?  Many of us including me would have been questioning God "Is that what God really said?" Impatience often leads us into taking matters into our own hands. Sometimes our bright ideas turn out to be not so bright. These plans that we create we expect God to bless these because they seem more reachable then Gods plans. 



But our own plans more than likely open up the door to confusion and chaos and this can hinder miracles. The bible is full of hope, encouragement and God promises good to those who serve him. Positivity and positive belief in God yields great results. Refuse to quite and do as 1 Corinthians 9:24 You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally.

Love is it....

Love is an emotion of a strong affection 
and personal attachment.
Love is also said to be a virtue representing 
all of human kindness,compassion, and 
affection "the unselfish loyal and benevolent 
concern for the good of another". 

Love everybody  at on point in there life has experienced love or what they thought to be love.now that i am older i think i have found what love truly is, love it more then a word or feeling it a yearning and a desire to be selfless, respectful and gracious with showing every bit of mercy. for what its worth people all over the world define love very different but the greatest example of love to me was when Jesus helped and saved Mary Magdalene for being stoned to death he never knew her up until that point but showed all the concepts of love toward her that is the true meaning of love. life is full of hate and love but if more people showed the love that he had deep with in himself the world wound be a better place.

Life is full of struggles and failures but when we get up and continue to love even when your heart was torn you find that you grow as a door closes, God did promise that when he closes one door he is preparing you to start a new chapter in the book that he has already wrote even before he spoke the world into existence, it  is up to us to follow the pages and fulfill it. 
Romans 12:9 in The Message sums what true love really is and how God has called us to love "Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle"



Let love be genuine or as the first part of Romans 12:9 says LOVE FROM THE CENTER OF WHO YOU ARE Literally!

1 Corinthians 12:21 In The Message 
You are Christ’s body—that’s who you are! You must never forget this. Only as you accept your part of that body does your “part” mean anything. You’re familiar with some of the parts that God has formed in his church, which is his “body”:
apostles
prophets
teachers
miracle workers
healers
helpers
organizers
those who pray in tongues.
                                  
But it’s obvious by now, isn’t it, that Christ’s church is a complete Body and not a gigantic, unidimensional Part? It’s not all Apostle, not all Prophet, not all Miracle Worker, not all Healer, not all Prayer in Tongues, not all Interpreter of Tongues. And yet some of you keep competing for so-called “important” parts.
But now I want to lay out a far better way for you.

By the mercies of God in Christ he is working for transformed minds that are not conformed to this age but are renewed, and that means first and foremost do not make much of themselves but make much of Christ in action and speech. There is a lifestyle that shows the worth of Christ-exaltation over the worth of self-exaltation. That is what he is after. And now he is calling for a Generation and Church based in love and judgement. 


But where comes love also can come hate, but a mutual hatred of evil and clinging to good is necessary for an honest love.Why?If not careful, love can easily lose its purity and depths The lusts of the flesh are strong, They can easily pervert the nature of our love, Profession of love can easily become a cover for evil. Therefore the need to 



Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.  Don’t allow love to turn into lust, setting off a downhill slide into sexual promiscuity, filthy practices, or bullying greed. Though some tongues just love the taste of gossip, those who follow Jesus have better uses for language than that. Don’t talk dirty or silly. That kind of talk doesn’t fit our style. Thanksgiving is our dialect. You can be sure that using people or religion or things just for what you can get out of them—the usual variations on idolatry—will get you nowhere, and certainly nowhere near the kingdom of Christ, the kingdom of God. Ephesians 2:2-5

But abstain any perversion of love!
